Great classical recordings call for three things: A beautiful-sounding space, an efficient and professional recording engineer, and impeccable performances. It’s our goal to provide the first two – so you can focus on the third.
Backthird Audio's large live room features 13-foot ceilings, hardwood floors – and lots of natural light. Our piano, a 6’3” Estonia parlor grand, is one of the few available in a pro-level suburban Chicago studio. We’ve recorded with classical ensembles and soloists including harp, flute and a variety of brass instruments and string ensembles.
